Sakai Takayuki KUROKAGE Gyuto 210mm – Non-Stick Coated VG10 Steel
Advanced Non-Stick Performance with Traditional Japanese Craftsmanship
The Sakai Takayuki KUROKAGE Gyuto 210mm brings a modern innovation to centuries-old knife-making from Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture—famed for producing Samurai swords. This versatile chef’s knife features a non-stick fluorine resin coating combined with a hammered finish, delivering unmatched cutting smoothness and food release performance.
Non-Stick VG10 Core Blade
The KUROKAGE series uses a VG10 high-carbon stainless steel core, hardened to 60–62 HRC, for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The hammered texture paired with a fluorine resin coating minimizes food adhesion and enhances cutting efficiency—surpassing the performance of standard MAC non-stick knives.
Fluorine Resin Coating + Hammered Finish
The combination of non-stick coating and a hammered concave-convex surface helps food slide off easily, reducing friction and improving speed and precision in prep work.
Professional-Level Craftsmanship
Each knife is hand sharpened by skilled artisans to ensure maximum sharpness out of the box—ideal for top-tier chefs and serious culinary enthusiasts.
Premium Wenge Wood Handle
A half-rounded octagonal handle made of wenge wood with a buffalo horn ferrule offers both durability and a comfortable grip. Designed for balance and control, it accommodates both right- and left-handed users.
